We are delighted to announce today our sponsorship of the Staffordshire Community Choir.
Led by Ashley Mellor, the choir is part of The Staffordshire Choirs Association (part of The Music In You), and is a non-auditioned community choir that promotes and believes in the benefits of singing not just for the joy of making beautiful music, but also as a wonderful way to benefit mental health and emotional well-being.
At Forrest & Family, we are passionate about our community. Every day, we witness very clearly and tangibly the fact that life is too short, and sometimes sadly the devastating impact of poor mental health. We believe in supporting people to live their best lives to the fullest, which is why we have chosen to enter into this partnership with the Staffordshire Community ChoIr.

I joined one of Ashley’s choirs two months ago … now I’m in five of them! (He did warn me at the start that it’s addictive!) Every day I am personally thankful for and able to witness the wonderful opportunities Ashley provides to our community.
I also believe deeply in the power of live music. This is hugely valuable at funerals and celebrations of life as a means of conveying our emotions and feelings for the person we have lost, and as a way of reflecting them and their character. Through this partnership, this is something we are able to now offer to all our families. Ashley and I both believe it is an opportunity that should be available to all.
