The Old Chapel, Etruria

A beautiful venue in the heart of the Potteries.
This is an independent chapel for funerals and events in a beautifully restored Old Wesleyan Church. Built in 1820, it has been restored to its former glory, with a seating capacity of around 200, the balcony is still home to the original pews, and organ.
The venue is open 7 days a week (including evenings), with a full hour service as standard, and additional time available on request.

Officiants
A Minister will be able to lead a religious Funeral Service, whether that may be in a Church or at a local Crematorium. A Celebrant is an alternative choice to having a religious Minister lead the funeral service. Whether you choose a Minister or a Celebrant, they will spend time getting to know you and your family, and learning about your loved one’s story, and will then write an individual and creative service based on this knowledge.
Different Ministers and Celebrants have very differing styles and approaches, and it is definitely not a case of one size fits all. We have a number of Ministers and Celebrants that we work with regularly, and we are happy to recommend a someone that fits with what you share with us about your loved one and your family, or you are able to choose your own.
